Support of Milwaukee French Immersion Programs
Our mission is to support French Language programs in Milwaukee Public Schools by supporting a challenging and enriching educational experience that maximizes the learning potential of every student and prepares them to excel in the competitive global economy. We do this in the following ways:
- Provide Interns at MFIS and MSL to enhance Francophone based learning and cultural opportunities for students
- Engage the community in fundraising efforts
- Support student exchange programs to French speaking countries/regions
- Provide support for other projects dedicated to the enrichment of the educational and cultural experience of students attending MFIS and MSL
- Support professional development of effective teaching strategies
- Promote French language in the community
But this does not come without effort provided by the many parents, students, school staff members and community partners who work diligently to help MFIF promote French Immersion education.
